The present relates to a method and a device for production of bean sprouts. The device comprises a packing container having an inlet and an outlet communicating with each other for placement of seeds therein, a cultivating box having an opening end for water inflow and a drainpipe on a bottom thereof for vertically aligned placement of plural packing containers therein in sequence, where such an aligned placement of packing containers can be stacked longitudinally as plural layers depending on the size of the cultivating box to form a proper closeness between the cultivating box and the packing container, a water receiving container connected with the drainpipe of the cultivating box for receipt of water flowing out of the cultivating box, and a pump linked to the water receiving container for drawing water back to the cultivating box. In such a case, it is available to cultivate bean sprouts in a manner of water circulation and regular time. Users may periodically pour clean water into the cultivating box to allow the water to flow from the inlets to the outlets of the packing containers and to fill up the packing containers stacked inside the cultivating box for soaking the seeds for several minutes and then be drained.
