PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stairway elevator capable of operating stairway lifting stably even when the weight or the loading position of an object to be loaded is different.SOLUTION: A loading part 30 of a stairway elevator 1 is provided with at least two weight detection sensors 92 for detecting the weight of an object to be loaded in the front-to-back direction of the loading part in the separated state.
