FIELD: technological processes.SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to technologies for destruction of tissues of plant origin materials, in particular vegetables, fruits, medicinal herbs, biomass for preparation for drying process. Method of vegetal material preparation for drying, including treatment of material moved between anode 2 and cathode 3 units at electric spark voltage, consists in processing vegetal material 12, which is carried out in non-self-maintained gas discharge mode by high-voltage rectangular pulses simultaneously with thermionic emission. Electric field strength is 3×105–6×105 V/m. During movement of material 12 cathode assembly 3 reciprocates perpendicular to direction of movement of plant material 12. Device for preparation of vegetal material 12 for drying contains facility for generation of high-voltage discharges 1 between anode 2 and cathode 3 units and means of transfer 4 of processed material 12, for example conveyor belt. Anode 2 and cathode 3 units are located one from the other, preferably at a distance providing occurrence of electric-spark discharge. At that, each of units 2 and 3 contains connected to each other nozzle 8 and head 9. Head 9 is made of two permanent magnets and is arranged in housing 10, and nozzle 8 of anode assembly 2 is saw-tooth. Besides, to casing 10 of head 9 of cathode assembly 3 installed with the possibility of displacement perpendicular to the direction of movement of material 12, a source of thermionic emission is made, which is made in the form of a heated spiral, and its nozzle is made in the form of a sphere.EFFECT: method and device provide higher efficiency of destruction of vegetal raw material tissues while maintaining operational characteristics of equipment for method implementation.2 cl, 3 ex, 2 dwgГруппа изобретений относится к области технологий разрушения тканей материалов растительного происхождения, в частности овощей, плодов, лекарственных трав, биомассы для подготовки к процессу сушки.
