PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve cap for retractor that can easily insert a treatment instrument while maintaining air tightness in a body cavity.SOLUTION: A valve cap 1 for a retractor includes: a canopy member 11 mounted in the outside of a body cavity of the retractor 2 for expanding a wound opening W formed in a body wall, and formed by laminating multiple flexible sheet members 15a, 15b and a mounting member 14 for hermetically mounting the canopy member 11 to the retractor 2. The sheet members 15 includes a slit 16 for introducing a treatment instrument F penetrating in the thickness direction in the body cavity, and openable and closable holes 19. The holes 19 are configured such that the sheet members 15 are extended in the inside direction of the body cavity when inserting the treatment instrument F into the slit 16.
