PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve cap for a retractor, the valve cap being capable of keeping airtightness in a body cavity even when a treatment instrument is tilted.SOLUTION: A valve cap 1 for a retractor includes a canopy member 11 formed by lamination of plural sheet members 15, and slit parts 16 provided on each sheet member 15 for introducing a treatment instrument F into a body cavity. Slit parts 16a, 16b of sheet members 15a, 15b adjacent to each other cross each other such that a space Sa formed between the slit part 16a of one sheet member 15a and the treatment instrument F is blocked with the other sheet member 15b when the treatment instrument F is inserted into the slit 16.
