PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet sterilization device capable of reducing ultraviolet with wavelength range of 230 to 300 nm, which is harmful to human body, and ejecting an effective light in the wavelength range of 200 to 230 nm at high light emission intensity.SOLUTION: An ultraviolet sterilization device has an ultraviolet light source, a lamp accommodating chamber for accommodating the ultraviolet light source, and a light guide part for guiding a light from the ultraviolet light source, in which a band pass filter for reducing the ultraviolet in a wavelength range which is harmful to human body is arranged at least one of, between the light guide part and the lamp accommodating chamber or at a tip part in a light ejection side of the light guide part, and an inner surface of the light guide part consists of an ultraviolet absorption member which absorbs the ultraviolet in the wavelength which is harmful to the human body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1【課題】 波長域230~300nmの人体に有害な紫外線を低減させ、かつ、200~230nmの波長域の有効光を高い発光強度で出射することのできる紫外線殺菌装置の提供。【解決手段】 紫外線殺菌装置は、紫外線光源と、当該紫外線光源を収納するランプ収納室と、前記紫外線光源からの光を導光する導光部とを有する紫外線殺菌装置であって、前記導光部と前記ランプ収納室との間、または、前記導光部の光出射側の先端部の少なくとも一方に、人体に有害な波長域の紫外線を低減させるバンドパスフィルタを設けると共に、前記導光部の内表面が人体に有害な波長域の紫外線を吸収する紫外線吸収部材よりなることを特徴とする。【選択図】 図1
