PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-line type UV sterilization apparatus which enables uniform irradiation of a wide range with UV rays by a reduced number of UV light sources and facilitates attachment of the UV light sources to the UV sterilization apparatus and maintenance.SOLUTION: A UV sterilization apparatus 1 sterilizes a fluid flowing through a passage 6 having an inlet opening 4 and an outlet opening 5 by irradiating the fluid with UV rays. The UV sterilization apparatus includes a light guide body 2 which is tubular and has a passage inside and light scattering means 8 on the outer peripheral surface and UV light sources 3 which are arranged on the outer surface of the light guide body and irradiate the light guide body with UV rays.
