PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extract of inflamed skin in a vaccine virus-inoculated rabbit, more stable in quality and a preparation containing the extract as an active ingredient.SOLUTION: By using, as an indicator, the amount of n-acetylneuraminic acid contained in the extract of inflamed skin in a vaccine virus-inoculated rabbit and the preparation containing the extract as an active ingredient, more stable quality of the extract and the preparation can be ensured. The effectiveness and the safety of the extract of inflamed skin in a vaccine virus-inoculated rabbit and the preparation containing the extract as an active ingredient, whose quality is more stable by such method, are strictly ensured. Thus, the extract and the preparation has really high utility.【課題】本発明の目的は、品質のより安定したワクシニアウイルス接種ウサギ炎症皮膚抽出物及び当該抽出物を有効成分として含有する製剤等を提供することにある。【解決手段】ワクシニアウイルス接種ウサギ炎症皮膚抽出物及び当該抽出物を有効成分として含有する製剤に含有されるＮ－アセチルノイラミン酸の量を指標とすることにより、当該抽出物及び製剤の品質をより安定的なものとして確保することができる。そのような方法で品質がより安定なものとなったワクシニアウイルス接種ウサギ炎症皮膚抽出物及び当該抽出物を有効成分として含有する製剤は、その有効性及び安全性もより厳格に担保されたものとなり、非常に有用性の高いものである。【選択図】なし
