PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide a wheelchair for the purpose of assisting bathing, the wheelchair having a tilting mechanism added thereto and a folding mechanism for folding the wheelchair into a compact form.SOLUTION: The wheelchair 1 for assisting bathing is configured in such a manner that a backrest frame 5 is supported removably by a vehicle body frame 4 provided with front and rear wheels so as to be freely turned in a front-and-rear direction with the lower end part as an origin and the rear upper end part of a seat part frame constituted in a roughly L shape in the side view is supported removably at the roughly vertical middle part of the backrest frame 5 so as to be turned upwards from a sittable state.
