PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a total weight and high quality product rate in a harvested fruit.SOLUTION: An artificial pollination apparatus 1 comprises a transducer array 30, a PC 10 controlling the transducer array, and a drive circuit 20. The transducer array 30 is constituted by arranging a plurality of piezoelectric transducers (ultrasonic transducers) 31, and is arranged separately from a flower of a plant 2. The PC 10 and the drive circuit 20 generate ultrasonic waves having different phases with each other determined by the positional relationship in the plurality of piezoelectric transducers 31 so that the ultrasonic waves generated in the plurality of piezoelectric transducers 31 are focused on a position of the flower. The transducer array 30 is controlled so that acoustic radiation pressure at the position of the flower is periodically switched at modulation frequency (natural frequency of a petal 2a) smaller than an ultrasonic wave band.
