PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mattress for the upper half part of the body, which can stably support the upper half part of the body.SOLUTION: A body part 10, which is extended in one direction and in which a recess 11 is formed, is provided on a front side. The recess 11 has a bottom 11A that is extended in one direction, and a pair of inclined planes 11B that are provided in the state of being inclined to both the sides of the bottom 11A. The thickness of the bottom 11 of the body part 10 is greater on the other side than on one side in one direction. The other side in one direction is positioned on a head side and arranged behind the upper half part of the body.
