PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attachment which is mounted on an endoscope provided with both of a first observation member for normal observation and a second observation member for performing special observation such as confocal observation and capable of executing the normal observation and the special observation while switching them, and is capable of washing the cover glass of the second observation member.
SOLUTION: The attachment for the endoscope has a cover part for covering at least a part of the distal end part end face of the projected part of an endoscope distal end part, which is provided with an opening window for exposing the cover glass of the second observation member. When the attachment for the endoscope is attached to the endoscope distal end part, a flow path is formed between a gap between the attachment for the endoscope and the projection part and an opening end of a washing channel.
