The present invention relates to a method of generating an organism, with the exception of a human organism, comprising the targeted modification of the genome of a cell by the administration in said cell of an agent capable of inducing targeted modification of the genome, the agent being administered as at least one protein, followed by generation of the organism from the genetically altered cell. The present invention also relates to the use of an agent capable of inducing the targeted modification of the genome of a cell, the agent being administered in the cell in the form of at least one protein, for the generation of an organism from the cell whose genome has been modified. The present invention finally relates to a cell whose genome has been modified by the administration in a cell of an agent capable of inducing the targeted modification of the genome of a cell, the agent being administered in the form of a protein, and the use of such a cell. La présente invention a pour objet un procédé de génération d'un organisme, à l'exception d'un organisme humain, comprenant la modification ciblée du génome d'une cellule par l'administration dans ladite cellule d'un agent capable d'induire la modification ciblée du génome, l'agent étant administré sous la forme d'au moins une protéine, suivie de la génération de l'organisme à partir de la cellule dont le génome a été modifié. La présente invention a également pour objet l'utilisation d'un agent capable d'induire la modification ciblée du génome d'une cellule, l'agent étant administré dans la cellule sous la forme d'au moins une protéine, pour la génération d'un organisme à partir de la cellule dont le génome a été modifié. La présente invention a enfin pour objet une cellule dont le génome a été modifié par l'administration dans une cellule d'un agent capable d'induire la modification ciblée du génome d'une cellule, l'agent étant administré sous la forme d'une protéine, et l'utilisation d'une telle cellule.
