PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily identifying a place of origin or production process of a large number of abalones without mounting a special grippable attachable tool or a metal piece to the abalones for the purpose of identifying.SOLUTION: The method for identifying the abalones is to identify the production area of the abalones by applying striped patterns of two or more colors to an abalone shell by feeding the abalones with a plurality of seaweeds having different colors.【課題】識別目的のためアワビ類に特別な挟着具や金属片を装着しなくても、簡易に、大量のアワビ類の原産地や生産工程などを識別することが可能な方法を提供する。【解決手段】本発明に係るアワビ類の識別方法は、色の異なる複数の海藻をアワビ類に給餌し、アワビ類の殻に二色以上の縞模様を施すことによってアワビ類の産地を識別する方法である。【選択図】図１
