PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a conventional problem that, although a conventional chair is provided as a convenience thereof, a latter-stage elderly has a large physical and mental burden on a back due to an instable half-sitting posture during sitting-down or standing-up, and to provide a support function which can also serve as a general-purpose chair.SOLUTION: A chair 2 on a base 1 includes an upper and lower sliding handles 3, 4 on the back. The chair can be upwardly and downwardly moved along a sliding guide column 7 by an electric motor 5 having a control unit and a chain 6 and freely stop at a desired stop position between the chair and the general-purpose chair, thus allowing a safe and comfortable siting-down and standing-up.
