According to an embodiment of the present embodiment, an X-ray detector is provided. The X-ray detector includes a switching part, and a light sensing part connected to the switching part. The light sensing part includes a lower electrode, a semiconductor region disposed on the lower electrode, and an upper electrode disposed on the semiconductor region. The size of the upper electrode is smaller than the size of the upper surface of the semiconductor region. It is possible to prevent the deterioration of image quality.본 실시예에 의하면, 스위칭부, 및 스위칭부에 연결되는 광감지부를 포함하되, 광감지부는 하부전극, 하부전극 상에 배치되는 반도체영역, 반도체영역 상에 배치되는 상부전극을 포함하되, 상부전극의 크기는 반도체영역의 상부면의 크기보다 작은 엑스레이검출장치를 제공하는 것이다.
