The device has a screwing pin (1) axially moved and staying coaxial to axles of screws. A spring (2) is switched between a supply rail and a screwdriver. The spring exerts return force and holds the screwing pin above a screw head in detached state. The supply rail consists of a running surface along which symmetry axis of the screws is aligned approximately parallel to magnetic field lines. The field lines run vertically to feeding direction and roll in a direction of magnetic field gradients directed in the feeding direction. An independent claim is also included for a method for pivoting screws.
