PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently raise joint strength between a body part and wing parts of an absorbent article and to improve the touch of the absorbent article.SOLUTION: A surface sheet 2a is joined to a pair of water repellent sheets 2b located on both width direction side parts on the skin abutting surface side of the surface sheet 2a and extending in a longitudinal direction. The wing parts 6 are formed in an excretion region A. Each wing part 6 has a wing part-forming material 62 independent of the surface sheet 2a and a rear face sheet 3. The wing part-forming material 62 is arranged such that one side end 63 located on the body part 5 side is located between the surface sheet 2a and the rear face sheet 3 and that the other side end 64 is extended outward in a width direction from the respective side ends of the surface sheet 2a and rear face sheet 3.
