The present invention discloses a Streptomyces sp. AN120537 strain capable of antagonizing a larval hormone by controlling a Met (methoprene-tolerant) receptor or a composition for controlling pests of the strain and uses thereof. The strain or the culture extract according to the present invention is an insect growth regulator derived from actinomycetes, which is an eco-friendly insecticide having an insecticidal effect by specifically acting on the insect and harmless to a plant； and has the same action mechanism and action point as an insect hormone so that the resistance regarding the regulator is difficult to be obtained by the insect.본원은 유충호르몬 Met(Methoprene-tolerant) 수용체를 조절을 통해 유충호르몬에 대한 길항 작용을 할 수 있는 스트렙토마이세스 속(Streptomyces sp.) AN120537 균주 또는 상기 균주의 해충 방제용 조성물 및 그 용도를 개시한다. 본원에 따른 균주 또는 배양체 추출물은 방선균 유래 곤충 성장 조절제로서 곤충에는 특이적으로 작용하여 살충효과를 가지면서도 식물체 자체에는 무해한 친환경 살충제인 동시에 곤충의 호르몬과 동일한 작용기작과 작용점을 가지므로 곤충이 이에 대한 저항성을 획득하기 어렵다는 장점을 가진다.
