PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a hormone secretion promotor having ghrelin secretion promoting action and growth hormone secretion promoting action via ghrelin secretion promoting action, and being useful for ingestion enhancement and enterokinesis regulation, enhancement of the cardiac function, growth promotion of tissues and organs such as bones and muscles, maintenance of homeostasis in living bodies, and the like and hormone secretion promoting food and drink, a hormone secretion promoting nutritive composition, and hormone secretion promoting feed, blended with the hormone secretion promotor.SOLUTION: The hormone secretion promotor contains defatted milk as an active ingredient.
