PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treating means of parathyroid hormone (PTH) and parathyroid hormone related peptide (PTHrP), used for: promoting bone growth； promoting hair growth； preventing cancer metastasis to bone； promoting immune reconstitution with a bone marrow stem cell transplant； promoting mobilization of bone marrow stem cells for collection for autologous stem cell； treating renal osteodystrophy； and the like.SOLUTION: This invention relates to bacterial collagen-binding fusion proteins containing active agonist or antagonist fragments of PTH and PTHrP coupled to a collagen-binding domain. This invention further relates to a method for: promoting bone growth； promoting hair growth； preventing cancer metastasis to bone； promoting immune reconstitution with a bone marrow stem cell transplant； promoting mobilization of bone marrow stem cells for collection for autologous stem cell； and treating renal osteodystrophy, the method comprising administering to a mammal the fusion proteins.
