A herbal composition for treatment or prevention of respiratory distress and viral, bacterial and fungal infections as well as aiding digestion, weight gain and strengthening immunity thereby decreasing mortality rate said composition comprising predefined amount of Eclipta alba and predefined amount of Tridax procumbens. Herbal medicament comprising said herbal composition of the invention for treatment or prevention of respiratory diseases and viral, bacterial and fungal infections as well as avian feed comprising said herbal composition of the invention for aiding digestion, weight gain and strengthening immunity thereby decreasing mortality rate were also disclosed.
