A herbal composition for treatment or prevention of respiratory diseases and viral, bacterial and fungal infections as well as aiding digestion, weight gain and strengthening immunity thereby decreasing mortality rate said composition comprising Aristolochia indica and Hemidesmus indicus. Preferably, said herbal composition comprising of whole plant except fruit of Aristolochia indica and root of Hemidesmus indicus. Herbal medicament comprising said herbal composition of the invention for treatment or prevention of respiratory diseases and viral, bacterial and fungal infections as well as avian feed comprising said herbal composition of the invention for aiding digestion, weight gain and strengthening immunity thereby decreasing mortality rate were also disclosed.
