A herbal composition for treatment or prevention of respiratory distress and viral, bacterial and fungal infections as well as aiding digestion, gaining weight and strengthening immunity thereby decreasing mortality rate said composition comprising Clerodendrum inerme and Kalanchoe pinnata. Preferably, said herbal composition comprising of leaves of Clerodendrum inerme and whole plant of Kalanchoe pinnata. Herbal medicament comprising said herbal composition of the invention for treatment or prevention of respiratory distress and viral, bacterial and fungal infections as well as avian feed comprising said herbal composition of the invention for aiding digestion, weight gain and strengthening immunity thereby decreasing mortality rate were also disclosed.
