PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oily cosmetic for the hair, which is well spreadable on finger tips or a palm, good in operability in hairdressing, and giving the hair good touch feeling with no stickiness, and also imparting the hair with high hairdressing retentivity and rehairdressing tendency, excellent in being washed off the hair, and also good in storage stability as a preparation.SOLUTION: The oily cosmetic for the hair comprises (A) a hydrocarbon solid at room temperature and/or wax solid at room temperature, (B) a volatile oil and (C) an oil gelatinizer, and contains substantially no water.
