Medical endoscope bending control mechanism, comprising a bending part, a bending drive unit, and a handwheel adjustment apparatus. The bending part is provided with an outer sleeve (5), a bending component (2), and fixed barrels (3 and 4). The outer sleeve (5) is sleeved on the bending component (2). The fixed barrels (3 and 4) are fixedly connected to the front extremity of the bending component (2) and are provided with the bending drive unit. The bending drive unit comprises at least four control cables (7) and control balls (6). The fixed barrels (3 and 4) are provided in the circumferential directions thereof with connecting grooves (8) that correspond to the control cables (7). The control balls (6) at extremities of the control cables (7) respectively are arranged within the connecting grooves (8). The handwheel adjustment apparatus and the control cables (7) are in a drive connection. The handwheel adjustment apparatus also is provided with two sets of limiting and self-locking mechanisms.
