The present invention has objects of realizing simplification of an adjustment operation and simplification of manufacturing by simplification of structure and providing a bending angle adjustment mechanism for an endoscope capable of contributing to reduction of a manufacturing cost, and a bending angle adjustment mechanism 50 for an endoscope 1 for the above purpose includes a rod member 54 that is provided to extend in a longitudinal direction of an insertion portion 2, and has a threaded portion formed on a surface in a longitudinal direction thereof, a plate member 52 that is provided to be parallel to the longitudinal direction of the rod member and through which the rod member is inserted at both ends curved in a substantially perpendicular direction, an adjustment piece 55 that is screwed onto the threaded portion of the rod member and positioned in the threaded portion, a guide member 53 that has a portion sandwiched and fixed by the rod member and the plate member, and is disposed to be parallel to the rod member and the plate member and provided with a guide path 53xa, 53xb for guiding a position of the adjustment piece in the longitudinal direction of the insertion portion, and a rotation preventing member 51 that prevents the rod member from rotating with respect to the guide member with the longitudinal direction as an axis.
