The present invention relates to a sunscreen composition comprising: a. an aqueous phase； b. an oil phase comprising at least one cosmetically acceptable oil； c. at least one sunscreen active； and d. up to about 5% by weight, based on the total weight of the composition, of an emulsifier system comprising； i. at least one ionic surfactant； ii. at least one nonionic surfactant having an HLB of greater than or equal to about 14； and iii. at least one nonionic surfactant having an HLB of less than or equal to about 10； wherein the composition is an oil-in-water emulsion containing oil droplets having an average particle size of from about 100 to 150 nm, is alcohol-free, and appears semi-transparent to transparent upon application onto an end-user's skin.La présente invention concerne une composition d'écran solaire qui comporte : a. une phase aqueuse ； b. une phase huileuse comprenant au moins une huile de qualité cosmétique ； c. au moins un écran solaire actif ； d. jusqu'à environ 4,25 % en poids, sur la base du poids total de la composition, d'un système d'émulsifiant comportant i. d'environ 0,2 à 0,3 % en poids d'au moins un tensioactif ionique ； ii. d'environ 1 à 3 % en poids d'au moins un tensioactif non-ionique ayant un HLB supérieur ou égal à environ 14 ； iii. d'environ 1 à 3 % en poids d'au moins un tensioactif non-ionique ayant un HLB inférieur ou égal à environ 10 ； la composition étant une émulsion d'huile-dans-l'eau contenant des gouttelettes d'huile ayant une dimension de particule moyenne d'environ 100 à 150 nm, étant exempte d'alcool et paraissant semi-transparente à transparente lors de l'application sur la peau d'un utilisateur final.
