PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray photographing apparatus capable of selecting a representative image from a contrast radiographic moving image quickly and easily.SOLUTION: An X-ray photographing apparatus includes: an X-ray radiation part an X-ray detection part an image generation part a radiation condition control part a storage part and a representative image selection part. The X-ray radiation part irradiates an analyte with an X-ray. The X-ray detection part detects the X-ray that has transmitted the analyte. The image generation part generates a plurality of X-ray images in time series based on the result of the detection by the X-ray detection part. The radiation condition control part controls the X-ray radiation condition sequentially based on the X-ray images sequentially generated by the image generation part and the radiation condition of the X-ray applied when the X-ray images are generated. The storage part stores each of a plurality of the X-ray images in association with the X-ray radiation condition when the X-ray images are generated.
