PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment instrument capable of easily holding a recovery loop provided on a stent.SOLUTION: A treatment instrument 1 includes a first forceps piece 21 and a second forceps piece 22, where at least one of them is rotationally turned about a rotational axis. The second forceps piece 22 includes a hook part projecting towards the first forceps piece 21, at a tip end thereof. When viewing a grip part from the axial direction of the rotational axis, the thickness of the first forceps piece 21 gradually decreases towards the tip end of the first forceps piece 21, and, in the natural state, the first forceps piece 21 projects diametrically outward a sheath 10.
