PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bush cutter for cutting bushes or weeds which is capable of preventing entanglement of foreign matter such as cut weeds with rotating parts.SOLUTION: In mounting plate-shaped rotating blade such as a chip saw, a circular saw blade, and a cutting blade at the end part of a rotating shaft protruded from a body, with the rotating shaft being fixed to the end of a shaft of a bush cutter and rotationally driven by a drive source such as a motor and a fuel engine, a cylindrical part to prohibit intrusion of foreign matter is inserted between a blade receiving metal fitting and the plate-shaped rotating blade where foreign matter tends to be entangled, thus preventing entanglement of foreign matter such as cut weeds. In using a linear blade rotating unit type device including a flexible linear blade such as a nylon cord projecting outward, a unit including a cylindrical structure to prohibit foreign matter added to a conventional device is used at a part where foreign matter tends to be entangled, thus preventing entanglement of foreign matter such as cut weeds. The new structure may be molded integrally when the unit is manufactured, or it may be additionally attached (e.g., integrated by adhesive agent, screw structure, or the like) afterwards. A similar structure may otherwise be employed.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】雑草などの刈取りを行う刈払機において、刈取った草などの異物が回転部分に絡みつくのを防止する。【解決手段】刈払機のシャフト先端に固定され、モータや燃料エンジンなどの動力源によって回転駆動される本体から突出した回転軸の先端部にチップソー、丸鋸刃、切り込み刃などの板状回転刃を装着する場合、異物が絡む部位である刃受金具と板状回転刃との間に異物進入を阻止する円筒形状部品を挟むことにより刈取った草などの絡みを防止することができる。ナイロンコードなどの可撓線状刃を外方へ突出させた線状刃回転ユニット・タイプの装置を使用する場合、従来の装置に異物が絡む部位への異物進入を阻止する円筒構造を付加したユニットを使用することで刈取った草などの絡みを防止することができる。この新たな構造はユニットを製造する際に一体成型しても構わないし、後付で付加(例えば接着剤やネジ構造等で一体化)できるようにしても構わない。また、同等の構造であってもかまわない。【選択図】図4
