The fingerprint module (U2) scans a fingerprint with an image sensor, compares the scanned image with a pre-stored image, and when there is a person having the same fingerprint image, outputs a registered authentication code of the corresponding person through specific serial communication. The finger vein module (U3) scans the veins with the camera image sensor after infrared LED radiation is transmitted through a finger, compares the scanned image with a pre-stored vein image, and when there is a person having the same image, outputs a registered authentication code of the corresponding person through specific serial communication. The conversion module (U4) receives input of the specific serial communication signal output from the finger vein module, converts the received signal to a signal of the same specific serial communication as that of the fingerprint module (U2), and outputs the converted signal.
