The antibacterial layer-attached base material includes: a base material having optical anisotropy, and an antibacterial layer which is disposed on at least a part of a surface of the base material, in which the antibacterial layer contains antibacterial agent fine particles and a binder, an average particle diameter of the antibacterial agent fine particles is 0.05 to 1 μm, the thickness of the antibacterial layer is greater than 5 μm and smaller than or equal to 15 μm, and a tensile strength of the base material is greater than or equal to 200 MPa.
