The invention relates to an intra-oral x-ray imaging arrangement which includes as separate structures, first, a radiation source (4) having a collimator structure (4, 40) limiting an x-ray beam for producing the beam used in imaging and for aiming it to the object to be imaged, secondly, an imaging sensor (30) arranged positionable within a patients mouth (30), and a control system of the imaging arrangement. The collimator structure (4, 40) is implemented as a structure (40) which enables adjusting a collimator opening limited by the collimator for at least one of the following: its size, its shape, its location, its position.Linvention concerne un ensemble dimagerie intraorale par rayons X qui comprend comme structures séparées, en premier lieu, une source de rayonnement (4) présentant une structure de collimateur (4 40) limitant un faisceau de rayons X pour produire un faisceau utilisé en imagerie et pour lorienter sur lobjet à imager, en second lieu, un capteur imageur (30) disposé de manière à pouvoir être positionné à lintérieur de la bouche (30) dun patient ainsi quun système de commande pour ledit ensemble dimagerie. La structure de collimateur (4 40) est mise en oeuvre en tant que structure (40) permettant dajuster une ouverture de collimateur limitée par la structure de collimateur pour au moins un des points suivants: sa dimension, sa forme, son emplacement, sa position.
