Preparing flavonoid glycoside oligomer, comprises solubilizing a flavonoid glycoside in a mixture comprising glycerin, ethanol, and aqueous solution to obtain a solution containing the flavonoid； and polymerizing the solubilized flavonoid glycoside by laccase enzyme. An independent claim is included for a cosmetic composition or a pharmaceutical composition comprising the oligomer in association with vehicle. ACTIVITY : Dermatological, Antiinflammatory. MECHANISM OF ACTION : Matrix metalloproteinase inhibitor. The ability of flavonoid glycoside oligomer to inhibit matrix metalloproteinase was tested in normal human fibroblast. The result showed that the percentage of inhibition was 76%.
