A method for preparing, separating and purifying an active ingredient artepillin C in propolis comprises the following steps: mixing the propolis with ethanol； removing impurities in a propolis and ethanol mixture centrifugally to obtain a propolis ethanol extract； separating a supercritical carbon dioxide fluid from the propolis ethanol extract to isolate wax, artepillin C, flavonoid components from the propolis and ethanol extract； followed by separating the supercritical carbon dioxide fluid from the artepillin C and the flavonoid component in the propolis in order to isolate the artepillin C component and the flavonoid component, and after standing for a predetermined time, purifying the artepillin C component by utilizing ethanol.一種製備、分離與純化蜂膠中artepillin C活性成分之方法，係先將蜂膠與乙醇混合，再以離心方式去除蜂膠乙醇混合液中之雜質，以獲得蜂膠乙醇萃取液，再將超臨界二氧化碳流體與蜂膠乙醇萃取液進行分離，使蜂膠乙醇萃取液分離出蠟質與artepillin C、類黃酮成分，繼而將超臨界二氧化碳流體與前述蜂膠中artepillin C、類黃酮成分進行分離，以分離出artepillin C成分及類黃酮成分，再靜置預定時間後，利用乙醇純化artepillin C成分。
