PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking support device using elastic energy and having a simple structure.SOLUTION: The walking support device 100 includes: a shoe 2 a shoe sole front plate 12 a shoe sole rear plate 22 and springs 18 and 28. The shoe sole front plate 12 is pivotally supported at the shoe 2 by a rotary shaft 16 extending to the side part of the shoe at the position between a toe and a heel. The shoe sole rear plate 22 is pivotally supported at the shoe sole 2 by a rotary shaft 26 extending to the side part of the shoe 2 at the position between the toe and the heel. A tip of the shoe sole rear plate 22 extends under the toe. The shoe sole front plate 12 and the shoe sole rear plate 22 are engaged so as to synchronizing and rotating to the opposite direction with each other.
