PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assist tool having an extremely simple structure and capable of preventing stumbling by assisting kick-out in a walking assist tool for persons with walking disabilities and the elderly with decreased exercise capability.SOLUTION: A walking assist tool 1 used by being inserted into a shoe just like an insole, is a plate-like material consisting of a flexible material, includes a fold-back part 2 for dividing the plate-like material into a front part and a rear part in the longitudinal direction and, when being inserted into the shoe, the fold-back part is located at a position coming into contact with the front part of the foot.
