PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for installing a plantar plate capable of installing a plantar plate which has a shape corresponding to a plantar arch of a human and a convex part in a part corresponding to an apex of a lateral arch of the plantar arch by positioning the plantar plate precisely and easily on a shoe bottom or an insole to be laid on the shoe bottom.SOLUTION: A convex member which has a shape corresponding to a convex part 4b of the plantar plate 4 and has a transcription means at a position corresponding to an apex of the convex part 4b is pasted on a sole of the human so that the position of the transcription means corresponds to a position of the apex of the lateral arch, the sole is positioned at a shoe bottom or the insole 2, and pressurized in a state that the convex member is pasted.
