PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide novel antigens of egg allergy of Coturnix japonica, diagnostic methods and kits for egg allergy of Coturnix japonica, pharmaceutical compositions containing antigens, and Coturnix japonica eggs, or the processed products of Coturnix japonica from which antigens have been removed.SOLUTION: The invention provides antigens derived from Coturnix japonica by which allergies against Coturnix japonica eggs are caused, the antigens being a protein comprising an amino acid sequence in which several amino acids are deleted, substituted, inserted, or added in a specific amino acid sequence.
