The invention discloses an information transmission method, a base station, and user equipment (UE). The method comprises: a base station sending a master information block (MIB) on a physical broadcast channel (PBCH) by means of each of a plurality of beams between the base station and UE, wherein frequency domain resources used by the base station for sending the MIB on the PBCH by the respective beams are different, and time domain resources are the same; alternatively, the base station scrambling a PBCH corresponding to the respective beams by using different scrambling codes, and sending the MIB on the corresponding scrambled PBCH by means of the respective beams by using the same time domain resource and the same frequency domain resource. The invention solves a problem in which it takes a long time for the UE to successfully access a cell because it takes a long time for the UE to acquire an MIB.
