The invention relates to a method for analyzing arterial pulse wave, which comprises the following steps: (a) acquiring a first/second pulse signal from a first/second location of a recipient and the distance from the first/second location to the cardiac of the recipient is L1/ L2 (b) determining a wave crest of the first/second pulse signal (c) computing a time difference △t of the wave crests of the first/second pulse signal (d) computing the pulse wave velocity(PWV) of the pulse signal, wherein the PWV=(L1-L2)/△t (e) determining a slope by the position of the wave crest and the wave trough of the first or second pulse signal (f) computing an area by integrating the function of the first or second pulse signal from the wave crest and the wave trough and (g) computing a vasodilatation coefficient, wherein the vasodilatation is equal to the slope divided by the area.
