The present invention relates to unhulled rice in which resveratrol synthase is expressibly inserted into a twelfth chromosome of natural unhulled rice so as to biosynthesize a high concentration of resveratrol, and rice produced from the unhulled rice. Also, the present invention relates to a health functional food composition, composition for animal feed, and a pharmaceutical composition, for preventing and reducing metabolic disease, said compositions including rice obtained from unhulled rice in which resveratrol synthase is expressibly inserted into a twelfth chromosome of natural unhulled rice to biosynthesize high-concentration resveratrol. The rice produced from unhulled rice containing a high concentration of resveratrol into which resveratrol synthase is inserted exhibits excellent effects compared to the case of simply ingesting the same amount of resveratrol.
