The rice roll includes: an outer cover part that includes a first layer placed at the outside and a second layer located at the inside of the first layer and is formed in the shape of a cylinder having a hollow part at the inside of the second layer, wherein the first layer and the second layer are integrated with each other； and a food material filled in the hollow part. The first layer includes moisture, which is 15% or less of moisture contained in cooked rice. The second layer contains moisture, which is 80% or higher of moisture contained in the cooked rice. The thickness ratio of the first layer and the second layer is 1:4 to 6.
