PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice ball shaping device that can be used for different sizes and both for rice balls with exposed fillings and for normal shaping and that can shape slender rice balls easy for small children to eat.SOLUTION: The rice ball shaping device has recessed portions 91-93 in one of a container mold or a lid mold and has projecting portions 94-96 that fit into the recessed portions on the other of the container mold or the lid mold, so that when the device is turned 180 degrees in such a way as to keep the projecting portions from fitting into the recessed portions, a rice ball that is larger in size by the depth of the recessed portion or the height of the projecting portion can be shaped, compared to a case in which the container mold and the lid mold are positioned so that the projecting portions fit into the recessed portions. Also, when a portion of a filling, e.g., the tail of a shrimp or a filling made slender, is caused to project by opening the apex angle of the approximately isosceles triangle shape of the container mold, the kind of the filling used can be determined from outside. When the apex angle is closed, a shaping method that does not cause a portion of the filling to project as in normal conditions is made possible, so that shaping of e.g., rice balls made of boiled rice with various ingredients or rice balls with tuna and mayonnaise or bonito shavings as fillings, is made possible.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】大小異なるサイズのしかも具材の一部を出したり通常の成型に兼用可能なおにぎり成型器が実現する。しかも、幼児が食べ易い細長いおにぎりを成型可能とする。【解決手段】容器型・蓋型の片方に凹部91~93を有し、他方には前記凹部に嵌入する凸部94~96を有しているので、互いに嵌入するように位置合わせした場合に比べて、嵌入しないように180度逆転させると、凹部の深さや凸部の高さ寸法分だけサイズの大きなおにぎりを成型できる。また、前記容器型のほぼ二等辺三角形状の頂角が開いて、具材の一部、例えば、エビの尻尾や細く処理した具材を突出させると、使用している具材の種類を外から判別できる。頂角を閉じると、通常のように、具材の一部が突出しない成型方法が可能となるので、例えば混ぜご飯・ツナマヨ・おかかなどの成型が可能となる。【選択図】図1
