PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image correcting method and an image correcting device capable of preventing impairment of the quality of a corrected image caused by subtraction of image data even if subtraction is executed between two images.
SOLUTION: The image correcting device comprises: a coded computing unit for correcting the image corresponding to first image data by subtracting second image data with codes from the first image data and generating corrected image data a minimum data calculating part for finding the minimum data value of the corrected image data generated by the coded computing unit and a shift processing part for shifting the whole corrected image data to the positive side so that the minimum data value is zero if the minimum data value found by the minimum data calculating part is negative.
