PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pharmacy support system 10 in which a code reading function of a portable terminal 30 and an imaging function of the portable terminal 30 coordinate so as to facilitate operation, by intercalation of a server 20.SOLUTION: When the portable terminal 30 reads a code, the code data is transmitted to the pharmacy server 20. After detection of work completion of a pharmacy instruction related to prescription data is performed by the portable terminal 30 or pharmacy server 20, or, it is determined whether or not imaging is needed for collation with the prescription data, and it is determined that imaging is needed, the pharmacy server 20 transmits a command for starting an imaging program, to the portable terminal 30. When the portable terminal 30 receives the command, the imaging program is started for preparing a state capable of imaging.
