To provide a reduction method of sludge which can simply and easily reduce the sludge and can effectively utilize the sludge, and to provide a wastewater treatment facility, a culture method and a culture facility of an aquatic crustacean, and a conversion method of a carbon source.SOLUTION: There are provided a reduction method of sludge and a wastewater treatment facility 1. The wastewater treatment facility 1 comprises: an aeration tank 30 in which water to be treated is biologically treated by activated sludge to provide biologically treated water； and a membrane treatment tank 40 in which membrane treatment of sludge-containing treated water containing the activated sludge and the biologically treated water is performed.
