PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical care instrument having a simple structure and preventing the leak of an actuation medium from a connection part.SOLUTION: The medical care instrument 10 includes a first portion 1 and a second portion 6 which are cylindrical bodies and removably connected by insertion/extraction in an axial direction. The instrument further includes a sealing member 16 which, when the first and second portions are connected in the connection portion, prevents the actuation medium passing through between the first portion and the second portion from leaking from an axial-direction gap b between the two portions in the connection portion toward an outside in a radial direction, and which is arranged on the inner side of the connection end of the exterior member 60 (40) of one of the first portion and the second portion. The sealing member comprises: a ring shape extension/contraction part 17 to be extensible in the axial direction and a ring shape shielding part 18 to be slid in the axial direction in conjunction with the extraction/contraction motion of the extraction/contraction part.
