PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article configured to further improve a capability of conventional technologies of preventing sideways leakage and to reduce burdens on a users skin by softening the touch of three-dimensional gathers in contact with the skin.SOLUTION: An absorbent article includes: a vertically long absorbent body 3 including an absorbent core 33 inner three-dimensional gather parts 4 disposed on both sides of the absorbent body 3 and outer three-dimensional gather parts 5 disposed outside in the lateral direction of the inner three-dimensional gather parts 4. The absorbent article is divided into an abdominal portion F, a crotch portion C and a back portion R.
